I painted this piece in 1999 focusing on the beautiful 'S' shaped curvature of the bobcat as he rests on a log, by a lake, in the Grand Tetons.  Four years later I was commissioned to paint a companion piece and so continued the scene, adding the elements of a Dragonfly to catch his attention, and Irises for their beauty.  Either image can be sold individually or framed as a diptych.
