I watched these ‘Resident’ Orcas around Vancouver Island, where the pod stays locally, their whole life, feeding only on fish. By contrast ‘Transient’ Orcas travel the oceans feeding on both mammals and fish.
Incredibly intelligent and complex, we have a lot to learn about these amazing creatures, … in the wild ….not in captivity.
