Description: Glacier National Park in Montana has been one of my favorite places to capture reference for my work. The scenery of the mountain ranges carved by glaciers, it's rivers and streams greeted by wildlife and the sheer majesty of the terrain leaves you breathless in the wilderness. This "breathless" feeling will help to play dead if introduced to a Grizzly I must add, but as of yet I have not practiced this technique - so please do not quote me on this defense mechanism! Being a Wildlife Artist, this area truly inspires the movement of the brush and the feeling of reflection in such a peaceful yet majestic environment. I painted this composition in 2000, with acrylic on masonite, later printed this year after receiving much demand.
